Eventful Stampede, of Nadia, Ikea, Attitude, Allison and QM Blues

Fourth Post for the fourth Semester ! time passes by like river water and realized I have accumulated four events for the fourth post, Good things come in fours huh ^_^ lol

Firstly, we met up with Nadia Sarah Anne to have lunch in Nando's SJ, then hor we were greeted by a waitress who clearly have problems with math XD, 2 drinks for 5 people ?, no...its 2 drinks for 2 people dear, learn to count ! Hahaha wow, that is just so evil of me ! but oh well, her pretentious english accent did not help her at all, well, joykiller aside, we had a great time ! was laughing alot thanks to Nadia XD she is such a person with many stories and dramatic recounts that really made our day lol, then....we started taking pictures and I realized Ze Ling had the ability to adapt to any wall shape, ITS TRUE, I have proof !

Then, the once Vernon's title of "Eveready" was passed on to Ze Ling, heres why,

She could pose until everyone gets ready for the camera XD lol, hahahah, no worries ! its not a bad thing ya, thats one of the reasons that made her so "Ze Ling" . Oh, Nigel went too, but I don't have a picture of him with us, check their facebook for more pics !

Then on 22nd July, we went to IKANO for some furniture shopping as well as the delicious meatballs, hotdogs and curry puffs ! it was fun looking at the furnitures with them, especially the mock bedrooms and living rooms that they put up, we were admiring the simplicity and modern designs of Ikea furniture, dunno why, everytime I'm in Ikea, I feel very inspired ! different feelings/inspirations are able to be conjured up and communicated to the customers, I find that to be a very valuable "asset" to a furniture business like Ikea, remember the environment that people shop in or stop by is very important ! then of course we stopped by at the Ikea restaurant for...

Then, I bought two T-shirts from....a shop I forgot its name XD which was pretty cool considering I never thought I would buy something that day lol, thanks to everyone for recommending different clothes ! ^_^

And the day ended by me dumping Ze Ling, Zahra and Le Wayne in a frantic search for home lol *runs away*

Exactly after a day after the Ikea trip, Tony Christiansen was in town to give a total of two talks I think o_O one in UTAR and one in Taylors, at first I only thought he was only going to UTAR to give his talk, and you need to cut out the newspaper in order to attend or something, but luckily, he was invited to Taylor's too ! so I thought, why not ?

at first the thought of attending alone was quite terrifying XD, and I thought not much peeps would attend, mana tau, the whole hall was full o_O. Great, so I just sat down and listened.

Inspiring stories and a very funny guy, I can't understand some parts because of his New Zealand accent (I'm pretty sure Zahra can) XD but despite giving this talk a gazillion times, it felt really genuine, everyone was dead silent when he was recounting his emotional experiences, I'm pretty sure he touched every single soul in the hall that day, and he was a freaking lifeguard ! beat that ! XD

And then a day before Uni starts, I mustered up all my courage to call Aunty Allison (Isaac's mom) to go out for Karaoke, since me and Han Lim promised to do so. It was so sporting of her ! and we had a great great great time for a long while in Karaokes, she took all sorts of food for the both of us, very kind hor and both of us were doing our best to entertain her and make her feel comfortable, instead in was the other way round, she didn't need to, because she was just so outgoing and we just had fun, and she sang Mariah Carrey and Whitney Houston tau, her singing was so innocent and sweet ! and the three of us just talked and talked and talked when we settled down in McD, never our conversation was broken by silence, we just kept talking XD lol

Anyway, thats about it for now ! School holidays were one of the more fruitful ones that I've had, Taman Negara, Klang outing, Karaoke with MANY PEOPLE lol, Exercised abit, Read Books, Played Games, Opened Facebook, Opened blog, satisfactory exam results,and a fresh new start of Uni ! lol and I realized my this post got quite a serious tone o_O dunno why lol, ta ! ^_^

Third Times the Charm ! Stayin Alive !

THIRD POST ! Agent J Reporting in,Haha yo, sorry for the lateness of this post, but oh well, better late than never !

so on 16th July 09, me, Zahra, Ze Ling, Elaine, Shannon and Nigel went to Le Wayne's Turf (Aeon Bukit Tinngi. Klang) for a one day trip. Everyone was hungry when we reached and took the opportunity to scavenge for food in the Jusco supermarket XD the girls bought some sushi related stuff while Nigel and I got the Chicken Karaage (which is actually just fried chicken chunks skewered on a stick), which was...DELICIOUS, dunno why probably coz we were really hungry. But it would have been better if there was a microwave to reheat it, but it was not cold, just warm.

Right after that we went to Greenbox and had a great time XD just check out the pics and a vid below XD

Well...due to a system me and my usual Karaoke gang use...this is the first time I've seen this ! lol

Then, a spur of the moment thingy, we went to watch Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince, which......surprisingly, there was no one there to line up for the premiere o_O weird, so we got our tickets pretty fast, good seats too for...8 bucks (Yes, I know its tempting, Agent V and L XD)



Its a decent flick, coz probably I had my expectations low (3,4,5 was quite dissapointing I must add) and Book 6 was considered to be quite boring, so it was pretty entertaining, loved the darker tone and shooting style that was used, some parts were...pretty freaky lol.) so to me, it was one of the better Potter movies that was released so far and since its leading up to the Last Book so naturally its just a movie to set up some big things that are about the happen in the last two movies.

Then we had our dinner at a Japanese restaurant called Kinsahi, had Spider King Ramen which costed my about RM 22 (including tax) but forgotten to take picture lah...aiyoh, but its a whole soft shell crab on top of the ramen (crawling position, legs curled), which made it looked like a spider, hence the name Spider King. The crab was nice ! but since its soup based, it soon got soaking wet and became soft o_O which is still okay la. The soup was so-so, dunno what it tasted like, Zahra said it tasted like peanut lol and Shannon officially has a new word to describe the taste of her soup, she called it "Funky" lol as if the Ramen and the soup would start rapping or something.

Then Nigel took me to Klang and dropped me at SS2, so kind ! lol Thank you Thank you

Oh but something sad happened that day lol, the Voodoo Devil phone strap Ze Ling gave me was missing in action after I came out from the cinema, Sorry Ze Ling ! but it did came of a few times, but those times I noticed la, this time..its really gone T_T probably because the Voodoo Devil is tired of me swinging it around......nah...its probably because I was all cuddled up and changing different positions to keep my self warm from the merciless air conditioning in the cinema....

it was like we were transported to north pole in an instant, and I thought Father Christmas would pop out anytime with his reindeers during the show. But it didn't lah, to make things worse, the film had snowy and windy scenes.....it was designed to torture us. It was the most excruciating experience I had in a cinema, literally shaking, it was the coldest cinema I had been through.

So, uhh I had to find a replacement for the Voodoo Devil, then I remembered Jon Yee gave me souveneirs from his trip to Japan, Dragonball and Pokemon Gashapons or..commonly known to us as...eggs lol

..its meant to be the sound that monkeys make kay ..lol not whatever you are thinking XD

And like every newborn that starts to say something, the first thing mine said was...

Oh yea, lately I've bought these ! enjoying it thus far, a really good buy this CD is !, lots of his great hits. listening to it right now ! and Love the cover of the Magazine ! Now I'm a Michael Jackson fan ! ^_^

ThE SeConD PoSt!!

Ehehehe.. Greetings humans.. Man, i have no idea where to begin. Well, it all started some time last year when the three of us agreed to make the blog. Couple of months, a few holiday trips,leaving family and friends (HOME), a new country, new friends, said goodbye, a semester over and here we are. Seems like just yesterday you know. Things, times and more have changed and life's great so far yeeha.. So to help start things of, stuff has been good here in Adelaide - The festival state.. its been raining heaps lately and the weather is now between 15 to 5 degrees.. IT Is coLd.. but yea.. It is what it is here..

Finally got it started ! ITS ALIVE !

First post yo ! finally got it started lor ! thanks to my good friends, procrastination and exams we had a late blog opening, but fear no more ! it is now officially open ! AGENT V ! AGENT L ! time to spread Lamenism throughout the cyberspace ! XD

But of course the aim of this blog is to keep in touch la, especially Agent L XD as ...he is probably lost, I'm afraid, somewhere in Africa? communcation has been lost since February 15th 2009.

Agent V ! your first task is to find Agent L and bring him back here ! lol, this shall be our HQ from now on *evil smirk*

anyways, I actually thought of a good name for the blog, but for some reason I ..forgot what it was when I finally got to edit this blog. so Sorry ! so "Just Being Lame" would be the new temporary name right now, feel free to pitch any recommendations for a new name !

as for latest updates, Well, exams over, then we went Taman Negara at Pahang, me Elaine, Jessica and Thiam Ping only, Shannon was supposed to go but has something to do at the eleventh hour, so she could not come. Pics at Facebook ! but here are some of my favourites !
